What it is Firefox has released a new version of it's popular alternative browser to internet explorer labelled 1.0.5 This new version fixes 11 security breaches found in the product ranging from problems with rendering web addresses that might hide the actual address, to a persistent frame injection problem that they've tried to fix in the past. 2 of the problems are rates as critical and 4 are high risk. The 2 critical problems could allow a malicious website to gain complete control of your sysem. Thunderbird (the email client) is due for an update later this week. We strongly suggest that Firefox users upgrade to the new version as soon as possible. What to do To update or download a new version of firefox go to: http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ and download and install the latest version of Firefox. You only need to do this if you already have or want to have firefox - if you normally use IE and are happy with it no action need be taken.
