Welcome to the Viruswarning forums.  All your original content has been ported to the new forums as  well as new content and additional opportunities to interact with the authors of Viruswarn.com.  You can always access old content at www.leedrake.com/forum .  You may find some formatting was lost in the conversion and the older versions of the posts to be more readable....

But at least it's all here.

Enjoy!

What it is Thanks to Periwinkle Consulting and Brett Rabideau we now own the site www.viruswarn.com. Using Microsoft Sharepoint I've created a site specifically for viruswarn.com, with new updated content. As we develop new content we'll add it to the site, and eventually the forums will move to that site as well (the forums are still hosted at www.leedrake.com/forum). With sharepoint we can almost instantly update the site with new content to help and inform you. In addition the site itself is heavily syndicated using RSS and XML feeds - so you can use the RSS or newsreader capabilities of your browser to keep tabs on security issues. Since much of the content brings information down minute by minute from security sources such as Microsoft, CERT, and others it can become a great place to just check and see if there is a current security issue. Eventually we'll be creating specialized portals to highlight particular types of security issues (vulnerability central, patch central, apps central, linux vulnerabilities, etc.). Keep an eye on the main page for announcements about new content as we build the site. I will also, in the near future, move the viruswarning email list to be @viruswarn.com instead of @azcomputer.net. I'll let you know ahead of that date so you can update your whitelists and be sure the mail gets through. What you should do If you're interested, come visit us at www.viruswarn.com. Send me an email if you have any feedback on the site at ldrake@azcomputer.net. If you wish to re-syndicate the information from the site on your own site, let me know - it may be more efficient to go directly to the source XML's, which I'm happy to provide. If you've bookmarked the viruswarn web page at www.leedrake.com that site will eventually go away. If you're interested in the technology behind www.viruswarn.com (MS Sharepoint) let me know and I'll send you a free PDF about developing web portals. References The new site: http://www.viruswarn.com This concludes this administrivia update!
