What is it? A flaw in a website's security could allow someone to access your personal information, including credit card numbers and expiration dates, if you ordered from FTD.COM recently. According to a bulletin from NTBUGTRAQ the FTD.COM website contains serious flaws that allow just about any hacker to access private data including credit card numbers and personal information like names, addresses etc. Apparently the exploit is both easy to do and publicly known at this point - making it a fairly high risk. There is no news on the FTD site that the flaw has been either exploited, or that it's been closed. What should you do? If you ordered anything from FTD.COM using a credit card (and considering the season that's entirely possible) we'd strongly recommend calling your credit card company and putting a credit hold or fraud check on your card, until it's clear whether the flaw has been exploited and credit card numbers have been harvested. Caveats: This is breaking news - more information may follow about FTD's efforts to close the holes and/or limit the access to the data, or about the extent of the flaw and how much it has or has not been exploited. This information has NOT been confirmed by FTD.
