Recent reports indicate that Bugbear searches your computer for credit card numbers and uploades them or makes them available on the internet. This is a serious virus, that you should beware of. If you find yourself or any computer under your control infected with Bugbear - you will probably want to cancel or place a fraud check on any credit cards that you've used for online purposes, or whose account numbers are stored in any documents, accounting programs, web cache pages, Microsoft Passport settings, or anywhere else on your computer. Consider any such numbers compromised. Another good idea, if you're using Internet Explorer is to be sure that IE doesn't cache web pages that are secure. You can do this by going to: TOOLS/Internet Options/Advanced, and scroll down and check "Do not save encrypted pages to disk", then click OK. Then clear your internet cache by choosing TOOLS/Internet Options/General and clicking Delete Files. Have you checked your signatures lately? Lee Drake Aztek Computer Solutions, Inc. 39 N.
